NEW BOOKS

American ramble: a walk of memory and renewal by Neil King Jr.; illustrations by George Hamilton. A stunning, revelatory memoir about a 330-mile walk from Washington, D.C., to New York City–an unforgettable pilgrimage to the heart of America across some of our oldest common ground. The journey travels deep into America’s past and present, uncovering forgotten pockets and overlooked people. By turns amusing, inspiring, and sublime, American Ramble offers an exquisite account of personal and national renewal–an indelible study of our country as we’ve never seen it before.

Cade’s Redemption by Robert Vaughan. One of the best stories on the friendship of men. They may have done each other wrong by not standing by each other the 1st time but they never lied or spoke badly of each other. They each were men of character. Friendship lost, friendship gained!

Grizzly Moon by Patrick Dearen. This novel is based on the actual 1899 hunt for the only documented grizzly ever found in Texas.

A Killing in Gold by Ralph W. Cotton. An all-new Western adventure featuring Arizona Ranger Sam Burrack.

The Lonesome Gun by William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone. Perley’s elder brother, Rubin, who manages the Triple-G Ranch decides to try breeding some Hereford cattle with the ranch’s longhorns. He asks Perley to deliver the contract for the Herefords, a simple task. But nothing ever remains simple when Perley is involved.

Silver Lady by Mary Jo Putney. Cornwall calling! From New York Times bestselling author Mary Jo Putney, the first in an intoxicating historical romance series set on the rugged Cornish coast, filled with swashbuckling adventure and real-life history, intrigue and an unshakeable love—perfect for fans of Poldark.
