Rachel, Mary, and I survived Spring Break ’26 with a huge increase in visitors—children, teens, and adults alike! We were even joined by Miss Iowa for a special princess-themed Toddler Time. Activities throughout the week included Gentle Yoga, Cribbage, Potluck Club, the March Madness PALS Book Sale, Poetry Club, putt-putt golf, ISU STEAM kits, and some very special animal visitors—a boa constrictor, a few pythons, and a tortoise. It was fantastic fun for everyone!
We also said goodbye to our dear library clerk, Mary McColloch, as she has retired. While we are so happy for her and wish her all the best, her enthusiasm for the library, our patrons, and our community will be deeply missed by staff and friends alike.
