New Books

The Road to Wisdom: on Truth, Science, Faith, and Trust by Francis S. Collins. The author shows how the four core sources of judgement and clear thinking work together, not separately–and certainly not in conflict. It is only when we relink these four foundations of wisdom that we can begin to discern the best path forward in life.

Unspoken-ness: On Life & On Death & Dying by Judith Kay. In her unique, heartfelt writing style, Judith Kay weaves her stories into your experiences. You will find yourself inspired, challenged, and affirmed. In the end, Unspoken-ness will leave you with hope for your own journey-living life changed.

The World’s Fair by Quilt by Jennifer Chiaverini. As fall paints the Pennsylvania countryside in flaming colors, Sylvia Bergstrom Compson is contemplating the future of her beloved Elm Creek Quilts. The Elm Creek Quilt Camp remains the most popular quilter’s retreat in the country, but unexpected financial difficulties have beset them and the Bergstrom family’s stately nineteenth-century manor.
